Gartner, an autonomous research firm which delivers technology research to global technology business leaders has predicted that cloud will be one of the top technology trends next year. This novel technology will set a high standard for application development. A researcher at Gartner has claimed that, "Cloud is the new style of elastically scalable, self-service computing and both internal applications and external applications will be built on this new style.

Several new firms, both small & large in size have entered into local/global cloud in the past few years. This has validated an increasing opportunity for cloud and has also helped to accelerate the speed of innovation for adoption across enterprises. Resultantly, the quarterly cloud infrastructure service revenues which spans across IaaS, PaaS, private & hybrid cloud models have actually crossed milestones in the form of billions of dollars which is expected to exceed tens of billions in a few more months!

For the records, companies have become more contented with the viewpoint of a public or hybrid cloud deployment. As a result, executives and boards have begun to limit capital expenditure which basically is drawn in favour of certain operational expenditures.

Due to these predictions, global organizations have to adopt innovative cloud strategies in next year. For that reason, cloud models have to be incorporated within the IT portfolio. This would make products, services & offerings of a firm stand out.  Thereafter, 2015 will witness a balance between companies which have now begun to embrace cloud and its overall market performance.
